Whale Watching Trips 2018 - UP

The Gulf of Chiriqui is a superb location to catch the humpback whale as it moves into warmer waters at that time of year from the cooler south. The Pacific coast of Central America is one of the few areas in the world where whales from both the northern hemisphere and southern mix. They come here to mate and to give birth.

Leave from the hotel’s own dock at 9am after an ‘a la carte’ cooked breakfast on our restaurant sea view verandah and head out into the waters of the Gulf Of Chiriqui. Often in just 20 minutes you can be spotting whales; & the extra beauty of it all? No crowds! This is an unspoiled area with few tourists and very often it’s just our hotel boat, the whales and the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean!

Afterwards we head to one or two of the beautiful white sand beach islands in the gulf for beach time before returning just at lunch time (approx. total trip duration 4 hours). See photos
