You do not have to be staying in the hotel to rent the power catamaran for an overnight trip.
(Reservations for the catamaran cannot be made by the booking platform on this website, but hotel reservations can, or contact us direct by phone or email and we can gladly arrange both. The waterside hotel alongside the dock is very convenient for a stay before or after the yacht rental. This catamaran is for private charter rental only. We guarantee the best available prices by reserving direct so do get in touch.
We made it flexible and with extra value: Yacht boarding time is of your choice from 9am (8am if just one day). Disembark by 5pm on day of return. This means if you reserve for 2 nights you have up to 3 days on board; pay 3 nights, get 4 days on board etc. Transfers can be arranged; see Additional information.
To add on an optional extra night or few nights in award-winning Hotel Bocas del Mar, our boutique hotel next to the dock, let us know (prices start from just $150 per night for two people with breakfast included, subject to availability).

This all-inclusive price includes:
- Professional captain services plus chef to prepare meals
- Three delicious meals a day; breakfast, lunch and dinner with wine or beer, including BBQ on on-board BBQ. We suggest menus and work with you to suit dietary requirements and food preferences.
- National alcoholic (beer and rum) drinks (regular, reasonable amounts, considering space restrictions on board a catamaran)
- Own drinks and snacks can also be brought on board
- Use of up to three kayaks (prebook before departure for loading) and snorkeling equipment all included
- Any National Park entry fees
- The customer service and customized attention from the Hotel Bocas del Mar team, voted best hotel in Panama 2024 (TripAdvisor)
- Daily cleaning of common areas. Sheet change in cabins every three days.
- Check in from 9am and checkout up to 5pm, such that a reservation of 3 nights is equivalent to almost 4 days, according to the guests’ needs. The hotel is available for optional stays before or afterwards.
- Courtesy return transfer from David or Boquete for catamaran stays of two nights or more
- Prices not available for Christmas (departures 22 December to 2 January; add 20%) or other Public Holiday periods (departures across Carnival, Easter or Fiestas Patrias; add 10%)
- Prices in US$ excl. tax at 7% and optional tips.
Fuel is not included. This is charged at market rate at end of trip according to route taken and a deposit taken in advance or held on a card.
If you wish to include fuel at a fixed, closed price, add $300 per day (not per night) to the quote. For example, 3 nights, 4 days, add $1200. And you will be offered an itinerary with the main destinations predefined. Please confirm this fuel supplement with us when reserving as we reserve the right to modify this daily fuel price in the event of extreme market changes.

If self-catering (bringing your own food) please remember to budget for the captain’s food.
Fuel: As is usual on these types of charters, fuel is charged extra at the end of your voyage at market rate as per your routes chosen. Consumption is up to around 60 liters (16 USg) average per hour and a typical day has total 2 to 3 hours motoring on average. Ask us for a fuel quote for your chosen trip length.
Local sales tax is added to invoices at 7%.
Payment and cancellation conditions (these apply to the Catamaran Vacations only. Hotel rates and conditions are different; see website)
A $2,000 damage deposit is taken at time of check in or authorized on one of your cards (Visa or MasterCard).
The Catamaran operates every month of the year, except October. At Christmas and New Years’ a minimum reservation of two nights may be required.
50% of the Catamaran reservation cost is required at time of confirmed reservation, (although we are happy to hold an option for you at no charge for a few days while you confirm). (If you cancel up to 2 months before arrival, 50% of the first payment is refundable and the other 50% can be used as a credit for a future stay on the boat or in the hotel). Full balance required 45 days before arrival. No deposit refunds can be made for peak Christmas/New Years season, although a credit can be considered. We recommend all guests take out travel vacation insurance to cover their payments.
