Local sales tax is added to invoices at 7%. 

Minimum stay 2 nights | Discount for 7 days or more: 15% | Discounts for a month or more: 60%.

Chistmas / New Years: Dec 24 to Jan 3. Carnaval 2025: March 1 to 4. Carnaval 2026: Feb 14 to 17. Fiestas Patrias 2024 & 2025: Nov 2 to 5.

Meals not included. Self-catering food preparation or there are many restaurants in and around the town (15 minutes away).

Cleaning prior to arrival and after departure is included. No cleaning included during stay.

Conditions:

For the house rental we charge a 50% deposit and the balance at 14 days. A refund can be given up to 14 days (for stays of 5 nights or fewer). For stays over 5 nights the 50% is refundable up to 28 days and the balance charged at 14 days. 

Check-in is from 2pm (14 H) and check-out is before 11am (11 H). Full meet and greet arrangements will be given on reserving or feel free to ask us in advance.

The estate is yours to enjoy during your stay, incluiding seeing the harvest in season (mid-November to mid-March approx.)

Note that there are a couple of workers‘ cottages near the estate entrance gate – one has a dog – and workers may occasionally be seen on the plantation. The house is in a private, discreet location.

Non-smoking inside. Please close doors and windows if smoking outside.

10 minutes from the David to Boquete highway
15 minutes to downtown Boquete (via scenic riverside road or the highway) 
40 minutes to David city 
45 minutes to David airport. 
90 minutes to Hotel Bocas del Mar and the Gulf of Chiriqui

The house and immediate terrace area are flat. It is suitable therefore for a person using a wheelchair if they have assistance during a stay.

 A vehicle is highly recommended as it is in a rural location up a hill with no public transportation. The last few hundred meters of the road to the house are unmade with stones. A SUV is recommended if possible but a medium-sized car/sedan is acceptable if driving slowly.

Weather:

Boquete is in the highlands of Panama. Here it is fresher compared to the humid, stickier tropical coast.

From Christmas to early April you can expect blue skies and drier weather almost all the time.

For the rest of the year, early morning into midday is usually stunningly clear, then cloud cover builds slowly for rain late afternoon before it clears again to twinkling stars. October and early November it rains the most, but dates can vary a little bit by year.

Sunrise is generally close to 6.30am and sunset close to 6.30pm, with only small changes year round.
